Mashed “Potatoes” – Keto and Paleo Style
These wonderful mashers do NOT taste like cauliflower. Trust me, you have to try these! They put mashed potatoes to shame when it comes to creamy, rich, and yes “carby” flavor. These mashers will scratch that potato itch. m/
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1/2 clove of garlic peeled
- 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil or Grass Fed Butter
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Steam the cauliflower with the peeled garlic until really tender. I steam mine in a rice cooker with steamer basket until it is soft enough to smash with fork.
- You can put cauliflower and garlic in blender or food processor (for creamier texture), add olive oil, salt and pepper. Cream/smash until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
